Wegner, Paul (Dec. 4, 1837-April 23, 1902 –husband of Louise Daehn [married Feb. 3, 1858 likely at St. John-St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, City of Reedsville –Louise was born in Prussia about 1842 of Frederick Daehn and Louise Kunz –this would make Louise a sister to Wilhelmina Daehn Draheim Kautzer] –after this marriage Paul re-married to of Auguste Zutz [married Oct. 22, 1862 St. John-St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, City of Reedsville] –son of Martin Wegner and Eva Rosina Bloedorn –born at Eickfelde, West Prussia –immigrated to the US on the boat Owego departing from the Port of Liverpool, arriving in the Port of New York on Aug. 28, 1854 in company of his parents and three siblings –farmer in Town of Eaton –from July 5, 1861 to June 3, 1864 owned the 80 acre farm at 20732 Duchow Road in Section 32, Town of Eaton –from May 30, 1865 to March 6, 1902 owned (in his wife’s name) the 80 acre farm at 3428 Collins Road in Section 4, Town of Eaton –sold this now 100 acre farm to his son Adolph Wegner and his wife Bertha Gother –shortly after his sale, Paul died –died from “sarcoma of intestines”) –buried at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Rockland [first marriage record Manitowoc 1-230] [second marriage record Manitowoc 2-154] [death record Manitowoc 7-70] --47105797
