FULTON - (Special) - Mrs. Elmer Wallace of the Friendship community died at 12:10 a.m. Monday in Tupelo Community Hospital after an illness of four months. She was 59.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Friendship Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with the Revs. Marshall Gresham, Tillis Walley, James Harvey, and Charles Cooley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Senter Funeral Home in charge. She was the former Miss. Rada Gracie Bowen.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Elmer Ray Wallace of Fulton and James Edward Wallace of Tuscon, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Clytee Bennett of Dorsey; her father, Tranny Bowen of Fulton; a brother, Darnell Bowen of Verona; eight sisters, Mrs. Chester Spencer of Fulton, Mrs. Perry Burleson of Selmer, Tenn., Mrs. Mabel Burleson of Verona, Mrs. Harvey Guntharp and Mrs. Moriston Guntharp of Fulton, Mrs. Charles Scroggin of Nettleton, Mrs. Harrison Sewell of Clarksdale and Mrs. Joe Carnathan of Okolona; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
