Nora Elizabeth "Teenie" (Gober) Brown is the Daughter of Joseph "Jack" Andrew Gober (1883-1954) and Marietta (Stanfield) Gober Clay (1883-1948). She was named after her Grandmother, Mary Nora Elizabeth (Gazaway) Gober.

She was the sister of:

(1.) Willie Lee (Gober) Yeilding Davis (1904-1975)

(2.) Atha Johnny "Tuggie" (Gober) Lewis (1907-1987)

(3.) Hattie Gober (1910-Bef. 1912)

(4.) Jewel L. (Gober) Cook (1912-1942)

(5.) Kathaline U. (Gober) Suttles Glenn (1913-2001)

(6.) J. William Gober (1916-1928)

(7.) Grover Gober (Born 1921 Died 1921)

Nora Elizabeth "Teenie" Gober married Conley Orear "Connie" "Jack" Brown on Sept. 30, 1925 in a Double Wedding with her Sister, Atha Johnny "Tuggie" Gober and Alston Roscoe Lewis, Sr.

It was Atha's Birthday. Jack Brown and Alston Roscoe Lewis, Sr. were friends since childhood in their birth place of Marshall Co., AL.

Nora Gober and Atha Gober were born and raised in Etowah Co., AL. The two couples obtained their marriage license in Etowah County AL. All four met with M.G., J. H. Haley at the Rail Road Tracts just off Highway 205 where the Tracts were the exact Boundary line between Etowah and Marshall Counties in AL. J. H. Haley stood on one side of the tracts and the two couples stood on the other side of the tracts and were married in both Etowah and Marshall County.
