Willie Lee (Gober) Yeilding Davis Troncale is the Daughter of Joseph "Jack" Andrew Gober(24 March 1883 GA - 10 Apr 1954 AL)and his first wife, Marietta (Stanfield) Gober Clay (12 Oct 1883 AL -22 Dec 1948 AL). Willie Lee was named after Marquis Willie Lee Gober (Born Dec. 1890 GA), the youngest brother of Joseph "Jack" Andrew Gober.

She was the sister of Nora Elizabeth "Teenie" (Gober) Brown, Atha Johnny "Tuggie" (Gober) Lewis, Jewel L. (Gober) Cook, Hattie Gober, Kathaline U. (Gober) Suttles Glenn, J. William Gober, and Grover Gober.

Willie Lee Gober married first to John Henry Yeilding (Apr. 10, 1889 AL - Apr. 17, 1930 AL). They were married on March 16, 1919 in Etowah County, Alabama, and they had three children together by their marriage:

(1.) Clifford Yeilding

(2.) Mary Louise "Lou" Yeilding (Feb. 15, 1920 AL - March 17, 1995), she married George Edward Lewis twice. They had one child by their marriage:

(a.) Edward Early Lewis

(3.) Esther Marie Yeilding (March 10, 1921 AL - Oct. 31, 1994 AL), she married James Garland Wood and they had one child together by their marriage. They later divorced.


John Henry Yeilding was a Mechanic in the Anniston, Alabama area when they married. He died April 17, 1930, leaving Willie Lee (Gober)Yeilding a widow.


She married second to Andrew Jackson Davis (Jan. 27, 1878 GA - 26 July 1958 Gadsden, AL). They were married on Oct. 09, 1948 in Jefferson Co., AL, and they did not have any children together by their marriage.
