Martin was born on September 17, 1867 [actually 1868] in Willoughby Township to George Henry Heximer of Germany and Elizabeth Morningstar of Willoughby Township. The informant was his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Heximer, R. R. #1 Chippawa, Ontario. Martin was buried on September 9, 1929 in the Evangelical Cemetery in Willoughby Township.
