Cascade – Roy Abers, 70, died at his home here Sunday night following a stroke suffered Saturday. He was born Feb. 9, 1871, in Sheboygan Falls, son of Silas and Eunice Abers. He lived in Sheboygan County the greater part of his life. He married Etta Smith on Oct. 27, 1892, in Plymouth. Survivors are his widow, one son, Perry, of Plymouth, six daughters, Mrs. Orville (Mittie) Pierce, Mrs. George (Myrtle) DeRuyter of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ed (Gladys) Schellenberg, Cascade, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Dipple, Mrs. Arno (Ruby) Schellenberg, and Mrs. Raymond (Alice) Thayer, all of Plymouth; 20 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the home and at the United Brethren church, the Rev. F. E. Warren officiating with burial in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
