Mr. Birdsong was born November 16,1939 in Bowie County.
He was a retired electrician from Red River Army Depot and a United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Birdsong is preceded in death by one son Michael Wayne Birdsong.
Survivors includes his wife Linda Birdsong; one son and daughter in law Stephen and Katye Birdsong; two Daughters and sons-in-law Sondra and Dennis Flores and Susan and Wesley Owen; two brothers Stanford Birdsong and Bud Birdsong; one sister Velma Banard; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held at the Bates~Rolf Chapel in New Boston.
Interment will be in Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Hooks, Texas under the direction of Bates-Rolf, New Boston.
