Said to have married James H Harrison ca. 1837, in Vincennes, Knox Co., IN and died bef.1870. Reported to be the daughter of Henry Steffey Jr. and Christina Staley for at least 70 years, if not earlier, and census records provide Henry with a daughter of right age to fit claim. However I've found at least one source which thought she might have been a Wampler. Until further proof is offered in support of this claim, the Steffy connection must be assumed to be the correct one.

Her husband is in Helderman Cem., near Monroe City, Harrison Twp., Knox Co., IN. But in 1860 they were still living in the Washington Twp., area.
