Brandenburg, Roma Vinyard, 94 was born in Duncanville, Texas, May 22, 1910, to parents Ewing Dunn and Harriet Daniel Vineyard, and passed away peacefully on November 21, 2004, at her home in Duncanville. Roma joined the First United Methodist Church of Duncanville at age 12. She was a member of the UMW, Bob Tanner Sunday School Class, and she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a charter member of the Duncanville Suburban Book Club. Roma attended Duncanville Schools and graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas in 1928. She continued her education at Amarillo Business College and worked for three years at Southwestern Bell before her marriage to Leon Brandenburg on October 1, 1932. Roma is survived by her husband of 72 years, Leon Brandenburg of Duncanville; her two sons, and daughters-in-laws; four grandchildren and their spouses; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at First United Methodist Church of Duncanville. Interment will follow at Wheatland Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Monday, November 22, 2004, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
