He was born in Peoria Dec. 29, 1908, a son of James and Edith Clemmer Turbett, and in Kentland, Ind., Aug, 25, 1928, married Ruth A. Hayes, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack Tillman of Pekin, two brothers, Milo B. of East Peoria and Leroy D. Turbett of Peoria; a sister Mrs. Arthur Huntley of Bellevue, and two grandson. A brother preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pekin Bible Church of which he was a member, or Child Evangelism Fellowship.
