Alyce attended school until at least the age of 14 and completed one year of high school.
After leaving school Alyce moved around with her mother. From 1920 to 1930 they lived in Spokane, in 1935 she reported living in Tacoma, but by 1936 was in Sierra Madre, California (most likely with her mother and maybe her brother Walter). In 1940 she's recorded in the census as living in Banning, California with her brother Walter. At some point she returned to Washington.
She was a member St. Leo's church and a former resident of St. Aloysius parish. In 1944 she moved to 3119 South 19th in Tacoma where two years later she passed away in a local hospital.
