Rites for Mrs. J.P. Head of Bryceland Held
Bryceland: Mrs. J.P. Head died here Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.A. Bryan, following a long period of ill health. Funeral services were held Sunday at 10 a.m. from the Bryceland Baptist church with the Rev. J.C. Cox officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Lebanon cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under direction of the Conger funeral home in Arcadia.
Pall bearers were O.L. Boddie, R.A. Boone, J.T. Chaffin, C.H. Daniel, D.H. White, and D.W. McCleish.
Surviving are four sons, George and Bryce Head of Shreveport, Grady Head of Hope, Arkansas, and Claude Head of Truman, Arkansas; and three daughters, Mrs. Bryan of Bryceland, Mrs. Fay Oakmail, Winnsboro, Texas; and the former Mrs. Maggie Dormon.
