OBITUARY
Alice Elizabeth Walters died October 9 at the Geary County hospital where she had been a patient for 3 days. The daughter of the late Albert B. And Rosa Rush Walters was born August 14, 1892 in Riley County at the Magic community. At the age of 5 she moved with her parents to Geary County in the Pleasant View community. For several years she was a resident of Topeka. The past 4 years of her life were spent at the Hanson Care Home.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Ralph Walters, R R 4, Junction City. Arthur Walters of Iola and Jennings Walters of Milford and one sister Mrs. George (Grace) Miller Jr. of Alta Vista.
Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev C Howell Bischoff officiating. Music was furnished by John Willome, soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Fran Trebilcock pianist.
Pallbearers were R.J. Hood, Herman Cott sr, Earl Younkin, John Schad, Clifford Rush and Elmer Swart.
Burial was in the Schenk cemetery near Milford.
