Baldwin lost one of its old and respected citizens Friday with the passing of Mrs. F. Weeks age 81 years.

Mrs. Matilda Snowden Weeks,was born April 2, 1862 at Beaver Dam,Island, Wis. She was batized at Fox lake, Wi Feb 14, 1869. After her marriage her and Frank Weeks moved to St. Croix in 1900. They residced at Wilson until 1913, then moved to Balwin. Mr. Weeks passed away in 1911 at Cylon.
Seven children were born, five are alive at this time. Vernie,Mrs. Andrew Wilhelm, and Orrie.
