Mrs. Gertrude Oliver Cason, 72, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Memphis, widow of Lee A. Cason, died at 9:32 a.m. yesterday in an automobile accident in Lubbock, the police said. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She was a former employee of the old Lowenstein's Department Store and was a member of Idlewild Presbyterian Church. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Billotte of Elyria, Ohio, and Mrs. Anne Sellmansberger of Arlington, Va.; a son, James E. Cason of Lubbock; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Oliver Gelston of Bartlett, 11 grandchildren and four great-granchildren.
