Mary "Mamie' was the daughter of Rachel Marion (Morgan) and John Douglas Peebles.
Henry and Mary "Mamie" had a son that died at birth.
They were first buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lonaconing and later transferred to Frostburg Memorial Park. Both sets of parents are buried in Oak Hill.
Mary had 9 other siblings in her family---the 10th child being Marion Dixon Peebles. Marion named her second son Henry Price Steiding. He changed his name to Earl Price Steiding (Earl after his father) and he and his wife (our mother Sara "Sally") named their third child Sally Price Steiding (our sister).
