Paula Jeannine (Caissie) Babineau, born 1/9/67, died peacefully in Houston TX on 8/2/11 at 44 years old, while trying to overcome her battle with Leukemia. She fought her disease with the utmost courage for 5 years so she could spend another day with her loved ones.
She left behind countless people who loved her including her husband, Claude, 2 sons: Shawn (13) and Joshua (10), her parents: Paul and Jeannine Caissie (Doucet), brothers: David (Leanne), James (Debbie) and Bruce (Marsha), her grandfather Desire Caissie (104), 5 nieces and nephews, Mother and father in-law Eugene and Rita Babineau, sister in-law Linda D'Avanzo, many aunts and uncles and too many friends to list. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Anna Caissie, Mina Anderson and Velmore Anderson.
Paula graduated from Marlborough High School in Marlborough, MA in 1985 and then graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 1989. She moved to Fort Myers, FL with her husband in 1990 shortly after getting married and spent the rest of her life as a Fort Myers resident. Paula worked for Lee Memorial Health Systems from 1991 until she retired in 2007.
Cremation occurred with a private burial in the Saint Columbkille Memorial Garden, 12171 Iona Road, Fort Myers, FL.
