Jack Doster Winterstein, CMSGT, MS Air National Guard, Retired, and lifelong resident of Mississippi, passed away at home with his family present.

Jack served seven years in the United States Air force in the 97th and 11th Bomb Wings. He retired after serving thirty years with the Mississippi Air National Guard, completing his career as Propulsion Chief. He was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church.

Jack married Dolores Thompson in 1952. They are the loving parents of one daughter, Rebecca Winterstein, Kramer and the grandparents of Rebecca Guion Kramer. Jack moved his family from Jackson to Florence in 1960 where he lived the rest of his life. He enjoyed gardening and shared the fruits of his labor with friends and family. Uncle Jack was a generous and loving man who will be greatly missed.
