Anna Musser Martin was the wife of Old Spring Ike Martin and was the 3rd generation of Martin wives to begin housekeeping on the Spring Isaac Martin Farm. 3 of her 5 children died young at 17, 18, and 20 years old. Only 2 of her children survived past the age of 20. Sadoc M. Martin Died at age 25, and the last died at age 49. Anna died 5 years before her husband, at age 75 when her apron caught fire while tending the cookstove. Anna was buried at one end of the cemetery beside her only daughter, leaving no room for her husband who is buried at the other end of the cemetery beside his son Sadoc.
