passed away, Monday, October 18, 2010. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Chenault Branscome;
Parents, Willie and Clara Moles Branscome;
brothers, Roger, Bryan, Waitman Branscome;
sisters, Almeda Branscome, Pauleda Yeatts and Alene Wilson.
He is survived by his son, Glenn Branscome;
sisters, Estelle Howell, Betty Branscome, Dot Adkins and brothers, Cadell and Roby Branscome
and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Branscome worked for the Coca Cola Company for 36 years and was affectionately known as the Coca Cola man by his family and friends and was a scout master in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a lifelong member of Bishop Memorial United Methodist Church. He had the loving support of his wife for 57 years. His son described him as superman. His faith, values, love, passion, devotion and dedication will be greatly missed. He is now with God in heaven who takes care of all.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm, Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue where services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, October 22. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road, Richmond, VA 23060.
