She died at 10:00 am Wed. 30 Nov 1983 at the Oxford-Lafayette Co. Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. She was 90 years of age. She had professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. She united in marriage to Mr. Melvin DeSpain. He preceded her in death.
[She is survived] by 2 daughters: Mrs. Louise Clarke of Oxford, Mississippi and Mrs. Lucy Furr of Shreveport, La; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Mrs. Mary Coffey of Campbellsville, KY and several other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held ate 2:00 pm Sat. 3 Dec at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Earl West. Burial was in DeZarn Cem. in Green Co.
