April 2,1980, Vancouver Wash. Born Jan 16, 1928 Brownville, Neb. Lived at 5904 NE 90th Ave Vancouver. And Had lived in Clark County for the past 33 years. He was a Retired forman for Alcoa and worked in the extrusion mill. Widow,Gladys M.,at home.
Mother, Mrs. Mary (Cogdill) Shipley, of Vancouver.
Son's Earl R. Cogdill, Vancouver. and Patrick S. Cogdill,Brush Prairie, Washington. Daughter, Mrs Frank (Barbara) Schmit, Vancouver. Brother Robert Cogdill, Onawa, Iowa. Several half brothers and sisters. One grandchild. Member of 25 Year Club of Alcoa. He Served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Mr. Cogdill Will lie in state until 1 p,m Monday, at which time the casket will be closed. Funeral services Monday, April 7th,1980 at 2 p.m. at Layne's Funeral Home Chapel in Battle Ground with Rev Howard Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Memorial Park.
