Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Myrtle Englade Dunphy, 90, who died August 16, 2011 at Southwind Nursing Home.Fr. Gary Schexnayder pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be led by Sr. Justina Baker at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
She is survived by one son, Terry E. Dunphy, Sr. and his wife, Judy of Carrollton, TX; one daughter, Sharon D. Green and her husband, Terry of Crowley; two grandchildren, Terry E. Dunphy, Jr. of Frisco, TX, and Deborah D. Clark and her husband, Earl of Arlington, TN; and one great-grandson, Jackson B. Clark of Arlington, TN.
Mrs. Dunphy is preceded in death by her husband, Allie J. Dunphy; and her parents, Wilfrid and Pearl Blue Englade.
