Bernard L. Berck, 75, of Turlock died Jan. 9 at Elness Convalescent Hospital.

Mr. Berck was a native of Osceola, Neb. He lived in Oakdale 44 years before recently moving to Turlock. He was an electrician and owned and operated Berny's Electrical Service in Oakdale. He served in the Marine Corps from 1947-48.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Schultz of Callaway, Neb., Kathleen Driggers of West Virginia, Dennis Berck of Eugene, Ore., Edward Berck of Omaha, Neb., and Mitchell Berck of Vancouver, Wash.; stepchildren, Elaine Mate of Oakdale and Steve Nelson of Modesto; brother, Bruce Berck of Olivehurst; sisters, Glenna Anderson of Modesto and Mary Ann Smith of Indiana; and three stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella. Allen Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
