ADAM MUNTIAN, 86, passed away on Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, in Fort Wayne. Born in Bethlehem, Pa., he was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and worked as an Electronic Engineer with I.T.T. for 36 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, American Legion Post 47 and also a volunteer at the Embassy Theater. Surviving are his wife, Florence M. Muntian of Fort Wayne; son, Adam M. Muntian of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Shirley J. Bruck of Bloomington and Adrianne E. Muntian of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Ann Mazur of Hellertown, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mary Muntian; daughter, Mary Ann Koehlinger; and sister, Florence Showers. Service is 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. Visitation is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at the funeral home.
