Frank Robert Forester, 72, of 110 Beach Road, Slippery Rock, formerly of the Ford City area, died Tuesday at United Community Hospital, Grove City. Born Feb. 1, 1926, in Templeton, Armstrong County, he was the son of Robert and Mae (Bowser) Forester. He had worked at Pullman Standard for 20 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the Navy during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Doris (Savona) Forester; a brother James Forester of Buffalo, N.Y.; and a number of nieces and nephews. An infant sister preceded him in death. Forester - Friends of Frank Robert Forester who died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mantini Funeral Home, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City. Services will be at 11 am, Saturday at the funeral home.
