My Great Grandfather was born in Tetes des Morts Township, Jackson County, Iowa, USA and by 1880 was living in Carimona, Minnesota. He married Clara Alt in McGregor, Iowa on March 7, 1900 and they then made their home in Carimona Township, Fillmore County, Minnesota where he was a farmer. Together, they had four children, Bennie, Josephine, Hilda and Clyde.
According to his obituary, Peter died of blood poisoning due to an infection in his leg. He was living with his daughter Josephine, my grandmother, and her family at the time of his death, on October 14, 1941
