George Delmar Williams, 91, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2002, one day prior to his 92nd birthday surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 9, 1910 in a log cabin with a dirt floor in Cedarville, Idaho to Roland and Sarah Southwick Burbank Williams. George was the youngest of nine children and was the last survivor of his family.

He graduated from Box Elder High School and married his high school sweetheart, Alice Maurine Olsen, on May 11, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple.

George was a master and meticulous brick mason. In 1969, he received the highest award in the State of Utah, The Outstanding Bricklayer of the Year. He was also known for his exceptional rockwork. He was as meticulous with his yard as with his brick masonry, where he won Yard of the Month.

He was a member of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers and the Brigham First LDS Ward.

Surviving him are three children: Rowena (Jarvis) Facer, Willard, Utah; Roger (Susie) Williams, Brigham City, Utah; and Marjorie (Glade) Gundersen, Hyrum, Utah; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grand and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maurine, and his parents, brothers and sisters.

Interment is in the Brigham City Cemetery, Brigham City, Utah.
