WHEELS HALT AT FUNERAL
MARQUETTE PLANTS TO BE STILLED DURING DUNCAN SERVICES

Offices of the Marquette Cement Manufacturing company at Chicago, Memphis, Tee., and Cape Girardeau,Mo., of which the late N.W. Duncan was an official will remain closed Wednesday, the day of the funeral ,according to an announcement by company officials.

The plants of the same company at Oglesby and Cape Girardeau will remain closed until noon Wednesday, and officials of the late staff of the State Bank said that that institution would not open until noon, remaining closed from 3 p.m. Tuesday.

condolences by the scor are being received by the Duncan family from men of prominence in the business world throughout the state, and profuese offerings are arriving hourly at the home on Third street.

Representative of the LaSalle Savings Bank and Trust Company and the LaSalle National Bank, will be present at the funeral Wednesday, while others organizations with which Mr. Duncan was associated will also have their officers present.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9a.m. Wednesday from the residence on Third street to St. Patrick's church where a requiem high mass will be celebrated . burial will be made in St. vincent's cemetery.

The body arrived in LaSalle early Monday afternoon from evanston , being accompanied here by Frank T. Walsh and Joseph Kurkowski , local morticians.
