He was born February 3, 1930 in Hurricane, Utah. His parents were Karl Alfred and Leone Russell McMullin. He grew up in Hurricane attending elementary and high school there.
Bryant married Mary Lu Richards on June 3, 1952. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of five children.
Bryant was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin; brothers, Karl, Doyle, and Alton; and sister Leone McMullin. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Shawna (Ryan) Knighton; sons, Russell (Darcie), Dale, and Richard (Sandy) McMullin; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Hugh and William (Carol) McMullin; sisters, Helen (Craig) Kennington and Amy Jones.
Bryant was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Served in several church callings. Bryant was drafted into the Army in March of 1951 and was honorable discharged in March of 1953.
Bryant was employed for eleven years at Intermountain Farmers, nine years at Booth Fisheries and twenty-one years as custodian for the LDS Church, where he retired.
