Lena M. Harmon, of Redding, died Thusday at Mercy Hospital at the age of 79 after a long illness.
She was born April 24, 1890, at Paskenta, and had lived in Shasta County 27 years.
She leaves a son, David A. Harmon, of Redding; two daughters, Mrs. Arline Jellison and Mrs. Viola Bonnett, both of Redding; three brothers, R. O. Markham of Oak Run; S. M. Markham of Red Bluff and W. C. Markham of Sacramento; two sisters, Mrs. Reta Osborne of Chico and Mrs. Roberta Pierson of Oak Run; three grandchildren, Dawin Jellison, Don Jellison and Lonnie Bonnett, all of Redding and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at McDonald's Chapel in Redding, with the Rev. Samuel Post officiating. Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
