Mary Ann Comstock, 77, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Jerry Parker will officiate. Burial will be at Lyman Cemetery in Watseka.
Visitation will run from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 19 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Mary Ann was born June 1, 1934 in Watseka, a daughter of Cornelius Etal and Margaret Marie Stockert Norder. She married Robert Franklin Comstock in Watseka on August 16, 1952, which would have been their 59th Wedding Anniversary, and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Judy Ann (Roger) Chilcoat of Divide, CO and Carol Lynn Comstock of Watseka; four sisters, Fannie Zabel of Joliet, Cora Mallon of Watseka, Kathy Norder of Pennsylvania and Cheryl Harder of Iowa; three brothers, Norman Norder, Eimo Norder and Donald Norder all of Watseka; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one son, Robert; two daughters, Bobbi Marie Comstock and Robin Rader; and one granddaughter, Mary Lee Rader.
Mary Ann was retired from Uarco. She was a member of Trinity Church in Watseka and participated in The Aid of Lupus Research Foundation. She loved flowers, games and was a fan of the University of Illinois basketball team.
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice or Methodist Hospital Cardiovascular Unit at Indianapolis, IN.
