Mrs. Mary Pletschette, wife of Peter Pletschette of this city, passed away at her home Sunday, March 28, after an illness of about six weeks.

Mary Feller, daughter ot Nick and Barbara Feller, was born August 3, 1878, at Weldon, Iowa, and pasted away at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 25 days. She came to this community with her parents as a young girl and has lived here since.

She was united in marriage with Peter Pletschette, February 1, 1899 at St. Joseph's church, Le Mars, with Father Meis officiating. To this union was born thirteen children, nine of whom survive. They include: Nick and Mrs. Mike Loutsch, Le Mars; Martin, Mrs. Hubert Jochum and Mrs. Leonard Bindner, Marcus; Mrs. Albert Miller, Sioux City; Mrs. William Bindnor, Mrs. Lawrence Pick and Mrs. Ivo Swain, Alton. Two brothers also survive, John Feller, LeMars, and Matt Feller, Sioux City. There are 22 grand-clildren.

Two daughters and one son died in infancy and another daughter, Mrs. Christina Schuster, of Pilot Grove, Missouri, died at the age of 28.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 at St. Joseph's church in LeMars with Msgr. J. D Fisch in charge. Burial will be made at St. Catherine's cemetory in Oyens. Wiltgen's are in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Pletschette was a devout member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and of the Christian Mothers society of that parish.
