Priscilla Ruperd was the daughter of Hiram Earl Waldron and Mary Ann Harrison. She was born on 13 Dec 1861 in Swan Creek, Fulton, Ohio.

She married William Ruperd on 26 Aug 1877 in Ferris, Michigan. They divorced in 1906. Court documents show William "commenced a course of unkind, harsh and cruel treatment towards" Priscilla. He was described as being a "man of great austerity of temper" who, during the marriage, "indulged in violent sallies of passion," and was verbally abusive using "very profane obscene" language.

William and Priscilla had 6 children that can be proved (they are linked to this page). The 1900 Census shows the couple had 7 children (and 5 were living at the time). Lucy had died in 1886 and the 7th child is Lilly Ethel (b.1895-d.1895). No obit or death certificate has been found for Lilly.
