Lenora M. White

Lenora Mae White, age 79, went to be with her beloved mother, grandmother and aunt.

She was a hard working and caring homemaker.

Lenora was a member of the Carl Junction Christian Church.

Lenora was born in Tulsa, Okla. on Aug. 4, 1924.

She also lived in Creston, Iowa, but she lived most of her life in Carl Junction, Mo.

She married James Newt White Sr. in Maryville, Mo. He passed away on Sept. 13, 1977.

Those preceding her in death include her sister, Betty June Dixon; and her brother, John Earl Gregory.

Those who will fondly remember her are her sons, James Newt White Jr., and his wife, Linda, Carl Junction, Mo., Richard White, Baytown, Texas and John White, Carl Junction, Mo.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, James Newt White III, Joplin, Melissa Graves and her husband, Roger, Galena, Kan. and Justin White and his wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Jessica Durbin and Seth and Ryan Graves; nephews, Jim Dixon, John Fox Gregory and his wife, Mary, Joe Gregory, Jake Gregory and his wife, Kim; nieces, Vickie Harris and her husband, Mike and Jennifer Gregory; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be a visitation for friends and family at Parker Mortuary on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003 from 5 to 6 p.m.

Boyce Mouton will officiate the funeral service at the Carl Junction Christian Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2003.

Burial will be at the Carl Junction Cemetery following the service.
