LEWISTOWN - Ethel M. Barger, 87, of 3533 Route 103 N., Lewistown, died at 4:05 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at her residence. Born Aug. 4, 1925, in Selinsgrove, she was a daughter of the late Rodger Bingaman and Elsie (Meiser) Bingaman. She is survived by her husband, William (Gordon) Barger, whom she married on May 14, 1959. She also is survived by: children, Dean B. Bigelow and wife, Diane, of Huntingdon, Peggy A. Hoffman and husband, William, of Huntingdon, Mark W. Barger and wife, Susan, of Petersburg, David L. Barger and wife, Mary, of Granville, and Elanie M. Beam and husband, Norman, of Petersburg; step-children, Jesse Barger and wife, Sharon, of Lewistown, Larry Barger and wife, Bunni, of Duncannon, and Beverly Bishop and husband, Michael, of Landisburg; brother, Stanley Bingaman and wife, Ruth, of Lewistown; sister, Elsie Black of Mission, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ethel helped her husband as a photographer's assistant in Huntingdon. She was Lutheran by faith. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with Pastor Fred E. Hickok officiating.Interment will be in the Church Hill Cemetery, in Reedsville. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to go toward funeral expenses.
