MIFFLIN Bessie McKinley Sheets, 97, of Meda Nipple Convalescent Home, Thompsontown RD 2, formerly of Mifflin HCR 67, died Saturday in the nursing home.
She was a former nursing assistant at Selinsgrove State School and for Dr. Penrose Shelley in the McCoysville area; and a member of Tuscarora Presbyterian Church, McCoysville, and the Gray Ladies.
She was the widow of Lloyd Foster Sheets. Surviving are two sons, Roy S. of Mifflin HCR 67, and Donald W. of Port Royal RD 2; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Guss Funeral Home, Mifflintown. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Nook.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
