Joan attended school at the Fairview District #48 between Nelson and Superior, she graduated from Nelson High School with the class of 1966. She attended college and then was employed in various nursing homes and restaurants as a cook. She was currently living at the Kenesaw Haven Home in Kenesaw, Nebraska at the time of her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Dorothy and one brother, James.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Crosier and husband Fred of Kearney, Nebraska, grandchildren, William and Sheri Crosier and Mikayla Chopp all of Kearney, Nebraska. One brother, Harlan Ray and wife Mary of Springfield, Missouri, three sisters, Barbara Siverts and husband Gary of Springfield, Missouri, Bonnie Jean Splitter and husband Larry Farr of Kearney, Nebraska and Deborah Sharp of Texas. One sister-in-law, Nancy Ray of Lincoln, Nebraska, friend and guardian, Brenda Chopp of Kearney, Nebraska along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
