Otto F. Olm, 67, at retired Valders and Calumet County cheesemaker who has been making his home at 1933 South 10th Street, this city, for the past year, died Sunday afternoon at Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Wednesday at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in the town of Rockland with the Rev. Harold Eckert and Rev. Mr. Weyland of Reedsville officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Born in Howards Grove in 1881, the son of Herman Olm, Sr., and the late Mrs. Olm, the deceased had been engaged in cheesemaking since a young man. He operated a factory at Valders for a number of years and more recently at Garnett in Calumet County.

He married the former Bertha Draheim at Reedsville 44 years ago.

Surviving are the wife; four sons: Roland of Route 1, Newton, Romeo and Randall of Route 1, Manitowoc, and Raphael of Route 3, Manitowoc; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Lutze of this city; four brothers: Oscar of Sheboygan, Herman of Brillion, Walter of Manitowoc, and Jonathan of Reedsville; six sisters: Mrs. Henry Draheim of Route 4, Chilton, Mrs. Otto Pautz of Sheboygan, Mrs. C. C. Brick of Route 1, Brillion, Mrs. Harry Bieberitz, Mrs. A. J. Drill, and Mrs. Emil Waak of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren; and his father: Herman Olm, Sr., 89 years of age, of the Town of Eaton.

The body may be viewed at the Berge Funeral Home in Valders from Tuesday at 2pm until removal to the church at 10am Wednesday where it will lie in state until the time of services.
