Rose M. Boone, 88, died Wednesday, June 13, in Ft. Bayard Medical Center. Mrs. Boone was born in Bee Ranch, Arkansas and had been a life long resident of Grant County. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Boone is survived her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Davis of Las Cruces, two sons, Wayne Boone of Las Cruces, Eddie P. Boone of Silver City, a sister, Mrs. Bess Pledger of Harrison, Arkansas, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Friday, June 15, at Memory Lane Cemetery with Mr. Albert Botts officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dale Rogers, Clyde Isabell, LeeRoy Cooper, Larry Morrison, Zeke Salazar and John Snedeker.
