Miss Myrle A. Age 84, of The Falls Home in Montour Falls, NY, where she had been a resident since January 2002, passed away at the Schuyler Hospital on March 9, 2002. She was born on June 26, 1917, the daughter of Walter S. Starkweather and Phylistia Paulina Ellison Starkweather. Myrle grew up in a hamlet called Brownlee, and attended a two-room school in Antrim, PA, from which she graduated. Survivors include a brother Arthur (Margaret) Starkweather, of Wellsboro, PA, sister, Bessie Bouton of Savona, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Elisher Starkweather, Jesse Starkweather and Stuart Starkweather; four sisters, Margaret Wood, Lucretia Button, Genevieve Gridley, and Mary Starkweather. Myrle was laid to rest on March 15, 2002 in the Montour Cemetery, Montour Falls, NY.
