Born Dec. 4, 1920, at Brownlee, Tioga County, he was the son of Walter and Phylistia Ellison Starkweather.
Mr. Starkweather had been employed by the former New York Central Railroad.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wood, of Wellsboro RD 2, Myrle Starkweather of Watkins Glen, N.Y., and Mrs. Bessie McConnell of Corning, N.Y., and two brothers, Arthur and Jesse, both of Wellsboro RD 3.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Tussey-Mosher's, 139 Main Street. Burial will be in Shumway Hill Cemetery, Charleston Twp., Tioga County.
