OBITUARY: Aaron Baird Crouch Jr. (1855-1948)
PLAN RITES HERE SATURDAY FOR AARON CROUCH, 92
Aaron B. Crouch, 92 year-old Mitchellite, died Wednesday evening, April 21, 1948, at a Mitchell hospital. He had been ill for some time and was seriously ill for the past five days.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24th, at the Fulton Methodist church, with Dr. M.A. Chase officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery at Fulton.
Crouch is survived by three daughters, Winnie J. Crouch, of Mitchell, Mrs. Lillian Washburn, Artesian, and Mrs. Gladys Montgomery, Huron; two sons, A. Claude Crouch of Wessington Springs, and A. Byrl Crouch, of Mitchell; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. [Amanda] Crouch preceded her husband in death in 1944.
The body will lie in state at the Broadbent Funeral chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 23rd.
