Minnie was born February 19, 1910, in Timmer, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Wetzstein) Zentner. She married Anton Stein on November 25, 1930, in Timmer. To this union, five children were born; Richard, Marcus, Joseph, Raymond, and Angeline.
Minnie loved going to the Senior Center, spending many hours in their serving room making quilts. The center would sell the quilts and comments were always made about how beautiful they were. Minnie received the Mom Werner Award for her hours of volunteering at the home. She was also a finalist for the Golden Rule Award. Minnie was a hard-working, no-nonsense lady who did everything to provide for her family. We love and will miss you Mom, now your loved ones in Heaven will enjoy your warm smile.
She is survived by two sons, Mark (Clem), Bismarck, and Ray (Shirley), Devils Lake; a daughter, Angie (Al) Lick, Bismarck; eighteen grandchildren, Kelly, Kent, Keith, Kim; Dean, Yvonne, Tim, Jean, Marc, Wanda; Jamie, Jodi, Jared; Bryan, Stacey, Jill, Steve; and Brad; 23 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Donna Stein, Spokane, WA, and Karen Engel-Stein, Bismarck; two brothers, Jack (Dorothy) Zentner and Mike (Dorothy) Zentner, both of Bismarck; and four sisters, Eva Glaser and Ann Zentner, both of Bismarck, Katie (Jerry) Schlickenmayer, Lewistown, MT, and Meg Januscheitis, Longview, WA.
