Garden City - Charles Edward Munn, 67, died at Memorial Health University Medical Center on October 26, 2003.

He was born in Stilson, Ga., to Desi Munn and Agnes Eloise Sanders Munn. Mr. Munn was retired from the Army after serving his country for 20 years. He was both a Korean and Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Bar, and a Good Conduct Medal. Charles retired in July of 1975 and moved to Port Wentworth. He later moved to Garden City in 1990.

He is survived by hiw wife, Elisabeth Munn; four sons, Michael E. Munn, Gerhart C. Munn, Nathan E. Munn, and Randeall I. Munn; his mother, Agnes Munn; seven grandchildren, four sisters, Quida Padgett, Wynona McElveen, Gwen Meyers and Dorethy Meyers; nieces, nephew, many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Massey-Framke Funeral Care.

Services will be Wednesday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Lanes Church in Stilson, Ga., with Rev. David Summerford officiating.

Burial will be in the Lanes Church Cemetery following the services. Massey-Framke Funeral Care.
