Roy Johnson
September 7, 1915 - October 8, 2006
Roy, age 91, was the son of Lilburn and Sarah (Sara) Cox Johnson. He married Bertha Heck on May 22, 1943, in Monroe, Mi. He was a crane operator at Ford Motor Co.'s Monroe Stamping Plant for 25 years, retiring in 1976. Roy was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church.
Roy was the father of two sons, Dale and Danny, and a daughter, Janice; grandfather of one, and great-grandfather of three, father-in-law of Mark.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Arthur, and six sisters, Evelyn Brewer, Madie Keck, Hazel Keck, Edna Steiner, Nell Tolliver and an infant, Thelma Johnson. He preceded his loving wife, Bertha, in passing on October 8, 2006.

He attended Pleasant Point School in Goin and she graduated from Powell Valley High School of Speedwell in 1941. They enjoy spending time with their family.
