Grace M. Massey, 68, R. 2, Mitchell, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at NHE Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 14, 1905 in Lawrence County to Charles and Sally Beavers King. She had been an employee of Spring Mill Inn. She married Ira Massey. Surviving are two sons, Gordon of Fairfield, and Carl of R.2, Mitchell; three daughters, Irma Thompson of North Vernon, Lois Clarkson of Versailles, and Verga Lee Slaughter, East St Louis, one brother, Ralph King, Huron; five sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Cecil) Grissom, Mrs. Noble (Ruth) Sorrells, Delphia Kinder and Nola Miller, all of Mitchell, and Eupha Doane, Bedford; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of Mitchell Church of Christ. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Tuesday at Haverly Mortuary with Roy Van Tassell and Paul Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call at anytime in Chapel of the mortuary.
