EARL ALDERMAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Earl Alderman, 59, of 109 Maryland Av., died yesterday afternoon in the Chesapeake and Ohio Hospital at Huntington after a long illness. Mr. Alderman was an employe of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad until 1949, when he retired.

He was a member of Boyd Memorial Christian Church, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Div. 190, Huntington; the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, Lodge No 294, Russell, Ky.; IOOF Lodge No. 140, Spring Hill; AF and AM, No. 58, St. Albans; Scottish Rite and Shrine of the Beni Kedem; Myrtle Rebekah Lodge No. 97; and the Chesapeake and Ohio Veterans Assoc.

Surviving are his wife, Beulah E. Alderman; two step-sons, Walter W. and George Ashworth, both of Charleston; a step-daughter, Mrs. R. M. Finch of Cincinnati, O.; three sisters, Mrs. Olive J. Coiner and Mrs. L. C. Gunnoe, both of Charleston, and Mrs. W. E. Richmond of Naoma; four brothers, J. M. of Dry Creek, A. A. of Sundial and H. W. of Muncie, Ind.

Service will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Boyd Memorial Church with Rev. Charles Oral Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The body will be taken from Snodgrass mortuary to the residence this afternoon and to the church one hour before the service.
