Edward T. Lovy
LOVY, Edward Thomas, 67 of Brightwood Center, Follansbee, W.Va., passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007, in Brightwood Center from Lou Gehrig's Disease.
He was born February 24, 1940, in Colliers, W.Va., a son of the late Daniel Matthew and Selma Mae (Bradley) Lovy. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Patrick Lovy; and one sister, Mary Irene Karpinski.
He retired from Airco chemical plant; was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Cumberland; the NOVA; and was an Air Force veteran.
Surviving are three sisters, Frances Marie (Cheech) Rocchio, New Cumberland, Regina (Paul) Miller, New Cumberland and Cindy Arango, New Cumberland; two brothers, Bernard (Lorraine) Lovy, New Cumberland and Robert (Linda) Lovy, New Cumberland; and several loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at the Turley Funeral Home with Fr. Ronald Getsinger as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton, W.Va.
