Selma Lovy
WEIRTON - Services will be held Tuesday for Selma M. Lovy, 88, of the Weirton Geriatric Center, who died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at the center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Burgettstown, Pa., Dec. 5, 1912, a daughter of the late Pete and Mae Yates Bradley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Cumberland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel M. Lovy; and a daughter, Mary I. Karpinski.
She is survived by four sons; Daniel P. Lovy of Dayton, Robert L. Lovy of Houston, Texas, and Edward T. Lovy and Bernard Lovy of New Cumberland; three daughters, Mrs. Clemens (Frances) Rocchio, Mrs. Paul (Regina) Miller and Cynthia Arango of New Cumberland; a brother, Walter Bradley of Enon Valley, Pa.; 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Father Ronald Getsinger will be celebrant of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Weirton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Turley Funeral Home, where a Scriptural Rosary service will be held at 8.
